Please read below prior to purchasing or booking any service with Inspired Art Therapy and Counselling Therapists, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms outlined in this Client Consent Form. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us before proceeding with your booking.

  • I understand the confidentiality policy and cancellation policy
  • You acknowledge that this is not a crisis service and you have been provided with alternative crisis contact details.

Purpose of Therapy

Inspired Art Therapy and Counselling Practitioners provide therapeutic support through art therapy, talk therapy, and related practices. These sessions aim to support emotional well-being, foster personal insight, and promote healing.

 

Client Rights and Responsibilities

 

You have the right to:

Be treated with respect, dignity and compassion

Ask questions at any time about your treatment

 

You are responsible for:

Attending appointments on time

Providing accurate information relevant to your care

Notifying us of any changes to your contact or health information

Managing your appointments and being aware of our cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy

We are a busy practice committed to providing high-quality care. To help us maintain this standard, we kindly ask that you provide at least three full business days’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Please note that your appointment time is reserved specifically for you and cannot be refunded or reassigned on short notice.

  • If you give less than three full business days’ notice and we are unable to fill your appointment slot, you will be charged 100% of the consultation fee.
  • If you fail to attend without any notice, the full consultation fee will also apply.

While we send appointment reminders, it is ultimately your responsibility to manage your bookings.

Informed Consent for Physical Touch

As part of certain therapeutic practices, such as somatic interventions or grounding techniques, physical touch may be considered.
We will always:

  • Seek your explicit, informed consent before initiating any therapeutic process involving physical contact.
  • Fully explain the nature, purpose, and expected outcomes of any such intervention.
  • Respect your right to decline or withdraw consent at any time.

For ethical guidance on this issue, we adhere to the principles outlined in paragraph 6j of the relevant codes of conduct (ACA, PACFA, ANZACATA).

This Is Not a Crisis Service

Inspired Art Therapy and Counselling Practitioners do not provide 24/7 or emergency crisis support. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact one of the following services:

Confidentiality

All information shared during sessions is treated with strict confidentiality and will not be disclosed without your written consent, except under the following circumstances:

  • If there is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or others
  • If abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person is disclosed
  • If required by law (e.g., under subpoena or court order)

In line with the ethical standards of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), and Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA), your therapist engages in regular clinical supervision. This is an essential part of best practice that helps support your wellbeing. During supervision, aspects of your case may be discussed; however, your identity will always remain confidential.

Online Services & Recordings: Some online sessions may be recorded for therapeutic or administrative purposes (e.g., for reviewing treatment progress or maintaining accurate records). These recordings are confidential, stored securely, and never shared without your explicit consent. You may opt out of recordings at any time.

Photographs of Client Artwork: As part of documenting your therapeutic journey, your therapist may take photographs of your creative work. These are used as chronological progress notes in your therapy file. Occasionally, anonymised images may be used for marketing or promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media, brochures). By agreeing to this consent form, you acknowledge and provide permission for this use; however, no identifying details will ever be attached. If you prefer your artwork not be used in this way, please inform your therapist.

🌿 What Is the 6-Week Online Therapy Support Program?

This 6-week online therapy journey is a safe and supportive space for anyone who’s feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, burnt out, or simply unsure of how to move forward.

You may be navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, low mood, or life transitions. You may be carrying heavy feelings that are hard to name. Perhaps you’ve tried coping alone for a while and are now looking for gentle guidance, new tools, and a space where you can be truly heard — without judgment.

This program is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Over six weeks, we’ll work together to:

  • Build trust and emotional safety

  • Explore patterns and challenges with compassion

  • Learn regulation and grounding tools

  • Express feelings creatively or through talk therapy

  • Reconnect with inner strengths, values, and clarity

  • Set small, achievable steps toward change or healing

Whether you choose counselling, art therapy, or a mix of both, each session is tailored to your needs. We move at your pace — not rushed, not forced.

By the end of the 6 weeks, many clients feel more grounded, self-aware, and equipped with tools they can carry forward in everyday life. It’s not about fixing everything — it’s about beginning to understand yourself more deeply and reclaiming a sense of calm, hope, and direction.

How To Make An Appointment!

This is the Payment Details section:

  1. Fill in your details and make payment.
  2. Press Complete my purchase and you'll be emailed a receipt to confirm your purchase.

What Happens After Payment?

  1. It will show that your payment has been successful and you will be asked to set up a password, as you are now considered a valuable client and now have an account with us for ease your future appointments.
  2. You will be taken to our Library Page
  3. Choose what you have just purchased eg: Initial Client Consultation
  4. Now choose ‘Click Here To Access!’
  5. Click ’Session 1’
  6. Click ’Schedule Session’
  7. Choose your preferred Date & Time’
  8. Press Confirm’
  9. It will say that you are successful in making your booking and you will be sent and email with confirmation.
  10. For an Initial consultation (& online bundles). Add your appointment to your Calendar’.
  11. That's it! You are Booked for Your Appointment! Well done and I look forward to seeing you very soon!

When it is time for your appointment! You will be sent 3 email reminders on the day (1 hr, 30mins and 5mins before your appointment).

 1. Go to your appointment confirmation email & in the email you will see a Blue button - ‘View Session details.’

  1. Click the ‘Blue button’
  2. Then Fill the  Login Details and wait for me to join you online approximately 2 mins before our session.
  3. Please note that you won’t be able to join the video or see it working until I login in.
  4. If for some reason, we can’t log in and the internet or technology isn’t working for us, don’t worry I will call you instead for our session together. Together we will work through it!
